My 2017 Birthday Photos - Inspired by My Favourite Things

Hey guys, long time no speak!

I know I've been MIA and there's no real explanation for that but trust me, I'm still looking for that balance. If you've got any tips, please leave them below!

I've been making plans for you, but I'm working on execution and I don't want to say too much just yet. However, yesterday was my birthday so I released the photos below to celebrate my special day. I decided to do a shoot this year because I just really wanted to do something different. I'm usually just the "stay at home and eat cake with family" kinda girl but I thought a beauty shoot would be fun.

I had fun in the studio with all my people (find them below), it felt like a birthday party on its own. The themes for the shoot were inspired by some of my favourite things, my hair, flowers, colours, red lip and music, most especially Fela's music.

Throwback Thursday: Lady in Red for Carolina Herrera

A few weeks ago I attended an event for BellaNaija; the Carolina Herrera, Herrera Confidential fragrance launch in Nigeria for the first time in Africa. See photos from the event here.

It was very exciting for the brand to choose Nigeria to be the first country in Africa to launch the luxe fragrance and I must say, I'm in love with it!

I wore a red dress, for some reason once I though Carolina Herrera, all I could think was red.

I saved my best TCB X Trend.Ed for last! Purple is on of my favourite colours, my favourite of all my favourites actually! Lol

TCB X Trend.Ed: Ombre Florals

Hey guys, here's the second outfit I got from Trend.Ed. I really really like this top because of the floral ombre effect of the print on the top. I'm not a pink person but I love this top.

TCB X Trend.Ed: The Bird Print

So here's the first top I got from the Trend.Ed shop. It's a green top with black birds on it, it comes in other prints but I preferred this one because of the bright colour and the style of the top reminds me of an actual bird.
