Redy

I look so Redy (ready) for the office in this outfit.
Don't you just love it when you can pull a suit from your closet even though you didn't buy both items together? Love it! The blazer and the skirt are from different places, same as the picture in my header. To be honest this is the exact same outfit down to the shoes LOL only thing different is the hair here is mine but with the blue suit I was wearing a wig. Love my curly wigs.
...Hm, I'm loving a lot of things today...
Blazer: M&S
Red Pencil Skirt: LA.X Nigeria
Black Cami: LA.X Nigeria
Shoes: Louboutin Pigalle
Love that my hair is back as well, I've finally taken out the twists I had in my last outfit post. I had a little hair cut but it's not so obvious cuz I did a blow out. In reference to number 19 in my confessions about my natural hair post here, I think this is the length I'm comfortable dealing with. I know my hair CAN grow passed this (shoulder) length but I don't think I'm patient enough to find out what it's going to be like to take care of my hair at that length. I say that now but I have a feeling I might change my mind later, maybe out of curiosity. And sometimes it's nice to just challenge yourself, do what you thought you couldn't.

I think you could also wear this for an office party (with a more formal setting) this christmas. If you always wear dull blacks to work why not try a bright red this festive season? Add some accessories for a bit of sparkle or maybe even statement shoes to make things more interesting.
Happy Hump Day :)

  1. You look very lovely.

Yes, it's always nice to buy separates that can be mixed and matched.

Your red skirt has given me a brilliant idea for my next sewing project :-)
