Flashback Friday... Scream!

Yesterday was the 6th anniversary of Michael Jackson's death and the radio stations went in on his songs. From Thriller to Liberian Girl to Billie Jean, it was great especially while stuck in Lagos traffic, so I had a little karaoke session in the car while driving home.

One of my faves yesterday was Scream featuring his sister Janet Jackson, who's also making a come back with No Sleep after a seven-year hiatus, I quite like the song.

For me yesterday, Scream was IT! I used to love the video as well and I watched it on youtube right after I got home... Love it! Maybe cuz they're acting crazy or their dancing or that it's black and white (which I love, even the outfits!) or I'm in love with my siblings and I love the fact that they're brother and sister, I just love it all! Lol

 It would have been better as a throwback cuz all this happened on Thursday yesterday... Throwback Thursday? But your home girl was tired after work so I got a second chance with Flashback Friday :)

It was one of those days when you get stuck in traffic with a headache, thank God for the radio and my karaoke moments in the car.

One thing I'm definitely working hard at is blogging more often (about any and everything) and finding the balance between work and blogging. I have a job so I'm not a full-time blogger like some others out there, I admire them so much for that, but I will do my best to be as consistent as possible and I think I've done a goo job so far if I do say so myself. Lol

My Picks: Fringe Necklace

I'm back in love with this Zara necklace again! 

The first time I wore it was here a few years ago, trying to channel my inner Janelle Monae when she was all about black and white (side note: I love that she's trying out new things now). 

It's quite old but I love it anyway. It's the perfect mix of two of my favourite things, statement/bib necklaces and fringe.

Cotton Candy

All this rain won't stop me from blogging, no sir!

The sky was heavy, but I was determined lol. 

I wore this to church and got quite a few compliments, someone even called me a cupcake! 

But I thought cotton candy was more suitable.

I'll save cupcake for another post :)

Orange Lines

I think wide leg pants are always a good idea, especially in Nigeria where it's always summer. You can dress them up like in my last post, or dress them down like the one I have on here. 

I wore this out with my sister over the weekend.

I especially love this one because of the mix of prints and the hint of orange, which is another one of my fave colours actually.
