Strike A Pose

Still in Lagos enjoying my summer and I thank God for all his mercies. I wore this white dress from Asos and eventually got it stained with make up, that aaaaalways happens to me but luckily it doesn't show in the pictures. Still rocking my ankara scarf as a turban, bag from Zara, Accessorize sandals and Miss Selfridge necklace I got a while ago and a bracelet from Giles & Brother. Hope everyone's good x

Movies Anyone?

I went to see Iron Man 3 at Ikeja shoppng mall the other day and It wasn't what I expected. I wanted so much more but it was just OK. Fast & the Furious 6 was way better now THAT was an action movie!
I looked pretty basic, white H&M top, green Zara leggings and a brown belt from Beyond Retro. I love the chain detail on the belt, I really adds a little something extra to a regular white shirt. Hope everyone's good! x

Laughter is The Best Medicine

I went out with my friends Wonu Vanessa and Airueys for Dinner at the O2's Wagamama and it was so much fun! Spent time eating, catching up, taking pictures, teasing each other, just general fun girl time with lots of laughs really, hence the title Lol. I love these girls and I don't know how else to explain it or put it in words but I had the best time that day, you don't always have to talk to every friend everyday but I think what matters is when you guys see each other and it's like you're still the same teenage girls from secondary school just living life being there for each other and trying to get a break from boarding school madness. Everyone's graduating and moving on to different things in life, though we weren't all in the same uni I feel the same way I felt after secondary school, the uncertainty about the direction of your friendships and if everyone's still going to make that effort to keep in touch and stay friends. However, if it does happen... C'est la vie!
Enjoy the pictures as much as we had fun taking them and spending time together! x

Green & Yellow

Hey guys! I apologize for the prolonged delay in updating the blog, I honestly have no excuse but I'll try to update more often. Shout out to Elizabeth (@harmon3y on instagram)! I met her at Ikeja shopping mall and she mentioned she reads my blog as well, thanks dear!
I had dinner at Picture House with Debbie before leaving Canterbury so here's what I wore, yellow Zara blazer & green top, Topshop jeans, Tory Burch flats and Mcqueen Demanta clutch.

Denim Blazer

I'm so sorry guys! I've been resting and catching up with family, the internet and light situation here aren't helping either but I thank God still cuz it could be much worse.
I took this pictures before I left for Lagos, I had a weave done for a different look and I'm loving it! The humidity in Lagos is rubbish for my natural hair so it's quite difficult to maintain it in it's straightened state so I might end up taking the weave out sooner than I thought. It gets annoying when you're trying to look cute and your natural hair decides to just embarrass you kmt.
Back to the post! My outfit is pretty basic as usual, got this blazer from Primark ages ago and I love it! How often do you find a pinstriped denim blazer?! The blazer makes it much easier for me to pull off the denim on denim trend that I run away from sometimes, for fear of looking like this (click the link). My necklace is from Topshop & my shoes are from Dune, thought it would add a little extra to the outfit rather than my usual black pumps... dull!

Lunch with Rinu

Hey guys, I'm leaving for Lagos today! So happy!!! Can't wait to see the fambam. I've missed everyone so much you'd think I've been gone for over a year lol.
But anyway before I left uni I had lunch with a few friends and trust me to take pictures everywhere, forever carrying my machine of a camera around with me, my friends are even getting tired. #bloggerhabits
My outfit was pretty basic so I added a bit of colour with the ankara scarf, this isn't the first time I'm sporting one on the blog so it's pretty obvious I love my ankara scarves. This is a different print from the orange/yellow one I usually wear, I'm always taking my mum's scarves and I've managed to create a little collection for myself and it's stiiiiiiiill growing :)

Belt: Beyond Retro

And this beauty is my friend Rinu, continue for more pictures from our lunch date.

Mustard Skirt

I'm in the process of moving out of my uni flat and it's so much work! Especially with the flu/allergies I'm having *thumb down* Been here for two years now and I've got so much to get rid of but going through everything has helped me find things I forgot I had, like this mustard skirt! It's from Asos and my top is from Forever 21. My shoes are from a shop called Peppermint here, don't know if they have other stores around but a lot of shops have similar ones.
With my hair, I took out the mini twists I had in my previous posts and here I'm just rocking a wash and go with Kinky Curly's Knot Today leave in conditioner.
