Cringe Worthy

Guys, have you heard of "Trypophobia"?
Typing the word alone gives me goosebumps.
Please google it, I cannot even try to upload a picture of an example here, I'm sure most of you would never come back to my blog! Lol
I think I have it. I mean I find it really hard to look at bumpy stuff with a lot of tiny holes (criiiiiinge just writing that!!!). It really irritates me when I see it on flowers or skin especially (in pictures).
I'm talking nausea, feeling itchy, it's just really disgusting. However, I'm ok looking at a stack of pipes and I love polka dot prints but theres just something about seeing it (holes) on a living organism, that's what makes me cringe.
Initially when I noticed I thought it was just me being a bush person (showing some illiterate traits or whatever), but I just found out it's an actual phobia. I still feel a tiny bit awkward just because I've always thought having a phobia for something isn't "normal" (normal being a very relative word here). But I also really hate spiders and cockroaches especially, and that's a phobia too.

Am I the only one who feels this way about holes?
Do you have any other phobias?

Side note: What do you think of the word "normal", is there such a thing?

The Aventure suit, Dior Haute Couture collection spring-summer 1948

One of my fave from Patrick Demarchelier for Dior haute couture, he has more amazing pictures but I'm more drawn to this one at the moment, I've fallen in love with black and whit all over again. I've bought almost 5 new jumpers all monochrome print and I'm loving the houndstooth on that jacket, it's such a classic. See one more picture after the cut.

Making Plans

Making plans, laying foundations for a secure future, learning new things and improving on your strengths. That basically sums up what I've been up to. I will try to blog as often as I can but please understand that I've been quite busy and something has to give right now. My total attention is needed for other important things. Sometimes you need to give up something now to get more benefits later.
I'm doing a course at Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design and it's been a great learning experience so far and I'm excited to learn even more. I've been given my first project brief which is an individual project on fashion history with a nod to the present so I'm working on that right now. I'm certain it'll help me be a better blogger and designer and I believe it'll help me in other areas as well. Meeting new people, experiencing more things and being inspired, which is one of my favourite things to do it that can be considered an activity.
I will carry you along with my progress, but I'm not promising regular posts. Expect more written posts that outfit ideas, I've always said I needed to work more on that and now is a better time than any to practise my writing especially being in a creative environment where I'm encouraged to write more and improve on it. So basically I'd be experimenting here and tracking my progress as well.

Rainbow Recap

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
The Lord bless you all and make you better this year than you were in 2014 in Jesus name, Amen.
First post of 2015, you'd expect me to count down my favourite looks from 2015. These aren't necessarily my top 5 favourite looks of 2014 but I love them all. Judging from these pictures it's safe to say I'm a skirtaholic.
Skirts, skirts and more skirts please!
And it won't stop in 2015, I like trousers as well but skirts have my heart.

The title of my last post for 2014 was "Within The Lines". I've always considered myself that sort of person, the introvert that "paints within the lines" always trying to be on the safe side. But sometimes it's ok to paint outside the lines or to think outside the box and get out of your comfort zone and I think that's one thing I need to try this year, get out of my comfort zone.
I'm not one for new year resolutions, I think we should always strive to improve ourselves on a daily basis, waiting for the start of a new year to be a better you is just procrastination as it's worst.
You my friend, have a case of severe laziness!
