Because sometimes, nothing is more Naija than the ankara fabric.
This was one of the first dresses I ever designed, either in 2009 or 2010. I helped design it for my sister but she hardly ever wore it so I took it and I'm really in love with this dress. Not just because it's an ankara dress with the mix of two prints that I designed myself but it's also my favourite style of dress, fit & flare. I'm thinking of remaking it in a different mix of fabrics but I haven't found the right combination yet. When I do, you'll be the first to know.
This is my favourite picture of the bunch, because sometimes the wind just has no respect but at the end of the day, it actually looks good!
Looks good only for pictures because when you think about it, I'm actually almost naked on the other side of this picture. You can only imagine how fast my hands pulled down the dress a few seconds after taking this picture, IMMEDIATELY! Lol
Happy Independence Day my people!
SIMPLY AMAZING!
