Reading week & Hair

 :) OOTD post coming soon!*

Finally my reading week is here! So I can take time to chill and catch up on work I might take out my twists as well but I want to wait till I have shampoo and conditioner. Incase you didn't know I'm natural so expect a post with my 3 years length check :) Can't wait!
I went on this site called British Curlies and that's where I get all my natural hair products and tools when I don't go to an actual black hair shop to buy them.
They are really good, have a lot of products from America that aren't available in the UK and the pricing is reasonable as well.
I was going to try Carol's Daughter products but unfortunately they don't have it (disappointing) so I decided to go for Shea Moisture.
I went on youtube to watch some reviews and people have some nice things to say about it so I'm gona try that out and do a review :) so look out for that. It's definitely my first time using the product so my washing routine in going to change. Keep reading to find out about my old routine.

I detangle my hair with olive oil or castor oil
Sometimes I use a deep conditioning treatment or a mask for this but it depends on what I feel my hair needs at that point in time and depends also on the last time I deep conditioned my hair
After that I wash my hair using Organix coconut milk shampoo
I do this dividing my hair into sections for easier malleability.
After that I condition using Herbal Essences Hello Hydration conditioner (come in a blue bottle) and it's very nice on my natural hair my friend Tayo recommended it
I use it as a deep conditioner as well, mixed with any essential oil but I use mostly castor.
After rinsing out the conditioner I spray my mane with my glycerin mix leave in conditioner. It's a mixture of water and glycerin (3:1) and any essential oil of choice, I use eucalyptus, coconut etc (trust me I go crazy with oils) and it leaves my hair soft, moisturized and the oil also helps seal in the moiture as this is really important!!!
Net I style my hair with my cousin's shea butter mix she made for me or with raw shea butter. Sometimes I use a little eco styler gel for a little more hold or I use nothing at all and just twist it up using the glycerin mix.
To take down my twists I use coconut oil to prevent frizz.
C'est fini!

So this is what I ordered from british curlies
 1 x Yucca & Baobab Thickening Moisture Mist 8oz
 1 x Yucca & Baobab Volumising Conditioner 12oz
 1 x Yucca & Baobab Thickening Shampoo 12oz
1 x Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque 12oz
 1 x Shea Moisture 100% Organic Shea Butter w/ Coconut & Hibiscus
Cant wait to try them out and let you know how it goes.
